A photo book by photographer Takashi Homma featuring the windows of Le Corbusier's architecture. This photo book focuses on the scenery seen from the windows as a clue to re-experience the architect's perspective, which cannot be captured in ordinary architectural photographs. It introduces 20 of Le Corbusier's architectural works photographed by Homma, from the "Mother's House" overlooking the horizon of Lake Geneva in Switzerland to the "Chapel of Ronchamp," widely known for its primary-colored stained glass. In the contribution by Tim Benton, the book looks back at Le Corbusier's exploration of beautiful framing, starting with the horizontal continuous windows. Jointly published by the Window Research Institute, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and Walther König.
